Terms and Conditions

Cancellations

  1. Cancellations made within 8 hours of the scheduled class start time will result in the session being forfeited. No-shows and absences are considered late cancellations and will also forfeit the session.

  2. Cancellations must be made directly through the booking website, app, or text.

  3. If you are running late for your class, please text me to inform me. If I’m teaching a class before your session, I may not be able to answer calls or retrieve voicemail messages, but I can see texts on my smartwatch or once the previous class has finished.

Arriving to Class

  1. Late arrivals are welcome to join the session, but please text me to let me know how late you will be.

  2. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the class starts. The doors will be unlocked 10 minutes before the session commences.

Session Packs/Intro Pass

  1. Session packs have an expiration date. Your spot is reserved each week, and frequent cancellations can make it challenging to fill your spot. There will be an extension for any sessions cancelled by DC Pilates, e.g. public holidays.

    • 10-session packs expire 13 weeks from the first use.

    • 5-session packs expire 7 weeks from the first use.

  2. Please keep track of the number of sessions remaining in your pack. Your regular spot will be held, but you must ensure payment is made before your new pack begins. Payment can be made via your account on the booking website, app, or bank transfer.

  3. Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sessions may be extended if you are injured, provided you have a medical certificate from your doctor or another allied health professional (e.g., Myotherapist).

  4. A minimum of 7 days' notice is required to suspend session packs due to holidays. Suspensions can range from 2 weeks to a maximum of 6 weeks.

  5. The Intro Class price is valid only for your first studio session. The session will be forfeited if you cannot attend and cancel within 8 hours of the class start time.

General

  1. Classes generally will not run on public holidays or Thursday evenings leading into long weekends.

  2. Photos and videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. Please inform me beforehand if you do not consent to sharing your image on DC Pilates social media.

  3. Grip socks or barefoot is required – regular socks are not permitted during sessions, as they increase the risk of slipping on the equipment and may cause injury.

By attending a class, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to discuss them with you.
